Fernand Mobalu2022-2023 Recipient
Fernand is a 17-year-old senior at Discovery High School. He was born in in Kenya (roots in Congo) and lives with his siblings and parents. He has 2 sisters and 4 brothers. Fernand is passionate about sports: soccer, basketball, and football; with soccer being his biggest passion. He has an interest in fashion with a keen interest in using his creativity and fashion sense in the future with such aspirations as modeling and traveling. His favorite subject is ELA, least favorite subject has been math, but he is motivated to continue to improve. He ultimately has a goal to go to college and also pursue a career in IT and Living REAL is happy to work along side Fernand during his senior year.

Loudjina Petit2022 Recipient
Loudjina Petit is a 17-year-old senior, born in Haiti, who moved to the US in 2021 with her family. Her interests include drawing along with a passion for learning and helping people. Her favorite subjects are math and language. She has a desire to study engineering in college as well as become an interpreter due to her desire to pursuse actively learning different languages. Living REAL is excited to partner with Loudjina this academic year and support her as she graduates in Dec 2022.

Chidinma OkerekeChidinma Okereke graduated from Collins Hill high school. Her hobbies include listening to music and working out. Her favorite subjects are science with a strong interest in psychology. She has aspirations to become a physician and specialize in anesthesiology. Living REAL is honor to celebrate her as one of our 2021-2022 scholarship recipient.

Victoria HaliluVictoria Halilu graduated from True Partnership Christian Academy and was part of the 2021-2022 REAL Empowerment Program. She is looking forward to pursuing her dream of becoming a lawyer. She enjoys helping her community and engaging in outdoor sports. Her future is bright and Living REAL applauds her endeavors!

Daniel AoulouDaniel is studying Computer Science and has obtained the Golden Door Scholarship, effective Fall 2022. Daniel notes that he was "excited to obtain and participate in the 2020-2021 Scholarship with Living REAL". His future goals include starting a small business and in the more distant future working at a tech company to develop new artificial intelligence software.
