Living R.E.A.L. volunteers spent time with other volunteers at the Decatur distribution headquarters for MedShare. Together we worked to package medical supplies and equipment for under-served communities abroad. 2021 Yannick Elementary School Partnership
Living R.E.A.L. started 2021 with a bang (after a challenging 2020 for the entire world) by donating funds to support the upgrades for the Yannick Elementary School. Yannick Montessori School is a Montessori based institution. It is strategically located on 92, Okun Mopo road, off Abraham Adesanya road in Ajah Lagos State Nigeria. The school was started on the 7th of October, 2018 with an initial pupil population of 15 pupils and 5 teachers including the proprietress and the head of schools. Living R.E.A.L. has partnered in 2021 to help improve the conditions of the school for the students. Please see attached gallery.
2019-2021 Collaboration with our Community Cares Initiative
Living R.E.A.L. provided support financially for local organizations such as H.O.M.E (Helping Oppressed Mothers Endure) and multiple local high school students with their college applications, math tutoring and mentorship in 2019 and 2021.
2018 MedShare International Giveback
On Oct 27th, 2018 Team Living R.E.A.L. spent time with other volunteers at MedShare, again working together to package supplies and equipment for under-served medical communities abroad. Once again, it was time well served, done with love and making a lasting impact!
2018 Health Fair
2018 provided Living R.E.A.L. with the opportunity to host it’s first Health Fair! Packed full of life improvement activities, wellness prizes, and even an Ask-the-Doctor Q&A panel, this event was one to remember! Hosted in collaboration with Divine Faith International Ministries, those who were able to participate were able to leave the event with plans of hope and a healthy life!
2017 MedShare International Giveback
Living R.E.A.L.'s 2017 R.E.A.L. Hope Campaign with MedShare set the bar for service and hands-on giveback for our organization! On Saturday 6/10, Living R.E.A.L. spent time with other volunteers at the Decatur distribution headquarters for MedShare. Together we worked to package medical supplies and equipment for under-served communities abroad. Once assigned the duty of assembling and providing boxes for the materials, our team set about doing so at a speed and level of efficiency that couldn't be matched! At the end of the packing shift, our volunteers truly felt that it was time well spent with an even more visible impact! 2017 Adopt-a-Mommy Giveback
The beginning of spring 2017 brought not only sun and blooms, but a chance to work again with Families First Atlanta in an effort to help expectant moms with obtaining a few important but sometimes expensive necessities needed with the arrival of a new baby. The first weekend in April, Team Living R.E.A.L. was able to purchase some items with some of our funds raised from our other events for a few moms-in-need chosen for us by Families First. Look below to see some of the items we were able to provide to the moms to welcome their new bundle of joy!
