This year we plan on ushering in the summer with our REAL Hope Campaign Give-Back event with MedShare International!

MedShare International, a national non-profit organization that sources surplus medical supplies and equipment for global communities in need, has provided an opportunity for Living REAL to be a part of it's sustainability efforts.  The act of collecting, stocking, and delivering supplies to 97 countries (not to mention the training of healthcare and biomedical personnel for service in these countries) is a big job, and we are happy to be a part in any way we can!

We are looking to assemble a team of volunteers for June 10th from 9am - 12pm to help receive, sort, and pack medical supplies and consumable for shipment to various MedShare-designated communities.  According to MedShare, the sorting sessions are held in the organizations Decatur warehouse (which is heated / air conditioned) and are usually around 3hrs long. Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age or older to volunteer on their own. An orientation is performed at the beginning of the session, so punctuality is important.

We would love to have you join us as a part of our volunteer team!  Please contact us via email to sign up (or call if more convenient).  In order to provide a team number to our MedShare hosts, the deadline for interested parties to sign up is Friday, June 2nd.
