Living R.E.A.L., Inc. is founded first on a commitment to enhance the educational, economic, social, cultural, spiritual, and health well-being of the people of Akwa Ibom, Nigeria, to then implement the spirit of that commitment locally and eventually globally.

​Our Mission

Our goal is to engage in programs geared towards charitable aid, educational tools, medical missions, and science-driven sustainability efforts for the people of Akwa Ibom and other underserved populations within the U.S.  

Living REAL understands the fact that there are many areas of need in the world and we have the opportunity with our lives to be a blessing to others.  It reiterates the belief that "we make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give."(Winston Churchill).  We embrace the philosophy of a truly living REAL and having a life defined in part by one's level of giving and service.  Thereby, we aim to:

• Recognize a Need.
• Examine the Need (within the context of how we can make a meaningful impact).
• Apply in practice the goals and strategies created to provide help and restoration.
• Live out the commitment of service to the impacted population through the provision of the necessary resources, tools of sustainability, encouragement and more.

Living REAL relies on funds from individuals, businesses, and foundations who stand with us in our goal to serve and help others.  We prioritize full financial transparency and we trust our donors to focus on the impact of the organization as the true indicator of efficiency.
