The holidays often represent a time when those in need may be significantly impacted. Living R.E.A.L. emphatically seeks to give back by continuing to serve and help our neighbors in need.
The REAL Thanks Campaign provides our organization with the opportunity to give a little hope and make the holidays a little brighter for local communities in need. 2016 marked the start of the Living REAL partnership with Families First, Georgia's largest family and children's services organization in metro Atlanta. This partnership collaborated to reach families in need within the metro Atlanta area via participation in a Holiday Dinner Drive and spearheaded our Adopt-a-Family initiative (both through the Families First collaboration). Since 2016, Living R.E.A.L. has continued to serve members of community annually via distribution of gifts, financial funds, and or service. Sponsorships have included financial support to local families in need and collaborative projects with other agencies to support our community. HOLIDAY DINNER DRIVE Each year, Living REAL provides a way for our donors to give and provide all of the necessities for a holiday dinner. a Though donations are put to use during both the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, our Holiday Dinner Drive is available for donation at any time! Please feel free to donate using the link below at any time during the year! Deadlines and details for each seasonal drive will be available closer to the holiday of note. ADOPT-A-FAMILY INITIATIVE Our Adopt-a-Family Initiative involves the adoption of families and provision of necessities.. As a partner with Families First, Team Living Real supplies the needs of the chosen families by using donated funds to purchase items off of the list provided by the family/families. Items provided often include scarves, gloves, toiletries, socks, winter coats, and whatever else is needed. Seeing the impact our organization has been able to make with what some could consider a small donation, continues to motivate us to make an even bigger impact with each year.
